The club is launching it’s Christmas Hamper Appeal for 2024.

Each year for the last five years we have asked members and supporters to donate food items (none perishable, e.g. tin of something) for inclusion in food hampers that we distribute to local families nominated by our partner schools (Devonshire, Layton, Boundary and St Kentigern’s) closer to Christmas (usually the Monday prior to Christmas). There is no limit on how much each member/supporter can donate. The more we get the more hampers we make up and the more families we help. Last year we delivered over 60 hampers to local families in need.

If anyone wants to donate money rather than food items they can. We always have gaps in donations so money donations help us fill gaps. Our aim is too have enough content for at least two family meals to be made from each hamper.

Food Donations can be dropped off at the club on Saturday mornings between now and Christmas or training nights. For those who would like to donate but can’t make the club when it’s open then we can arrange pick up by either contacting the club on Blackpool 398888, please leave a message, or John Gill 07873 147686.
