Blackpool Stanley has a wide variety of volunteering roles available from specific team related roles (e.g. coaching, team management etc) to more generic club roles (e.g. bar staff, catering, club treasurer etc)

For Junior or Youth development roles available at the club, including coaching, team management, First Aid, Match Day Management or helping with kit, fund raising or transport on match days contact Dave Staples in the First Instance.

RFL Volunteering Registration – League NET – (None Coaching Roles)

For team coaches follow the registration link below for The RFL

As a club volunteer you will need to register with the National Governing Body (NGB), The Rugby Football League (The RFL). To register as a volunteer for Blackpool Stanley click on this link

Volunteers need to take the North West Mens League option for Open Age Roles, and
for North West Youth & Junior Leagues option for Junior/Youth Roles at the club.

RFL Coaching Registration – League NET

All Club Coaches need to be registered with The RFL. To register with The RFL as a team coach for Blackpool Stanley follow this link

Coaches need to take the North West Mens League option for Open Age Roles, and
for North West Youth & Junior Leagues option for Junior/Youth Roles at the club.

The RFL will then monitor your progress as a coach and send appropriate marketing information to you regarding coach education .

DBS – RFL disclosure-and-baring-service

Your Online DBS application once completed will need verifying before full submission. There are instructions on how to do this via the above link. If you are having problems contacting an approved verifier please contact either Dave Staples or John Gill

Once you receive your DBS Disclosure Certificate a copy must be lodged with the club for audit purposes. Please ensure Dave Staples receives a copy.

Gameday Access.

In order to manage team/club registrations and game day events (scores, team selection etc) team and club administrators will need access to the GameDay App.

In order for your gameday passport to be approved  both the club and The RFL will need to approve your request. You will need to be a registered volunteer/coach with the club and for junior/youth riles need a valid DBS and Safeguarding certificate.
