The club has this week accepted the resignations of both Paul Grimes and Gary Parker from there roles at the club. Both Paul and Gary have worked tirelessly over the past few years with the under 18 squad and both will be sadly missed by the club.
Both Paul and Gary have stated personal (work and family) commitments as their reasons for taking time out from the game.
The club would like to thank both Paul and Gary for there input over the last few years without which a lot less youth rugby would have been played at the club. Chairman, Simon Hornby, said ” it is always sad to loose members from the club, but particularly when they play such an important role as Paul and Gary have. They were both popular with the squad and will be difficult to replace, but at the end of the day work and family must always come first for our volunteers. I wish them both well for whatever comes next for them and assure them that there will always be a warm welcome for them at Blackpool Stanley”
The club has every intention of continuing with the under 18 team and is actively looking for coaches to help with the team.
