The wet winter weather keeps on comming and is having what seems like an ever lasting impact on the clubs pitch at Kingcote Park. With the water table so high after what seems like the wettest winter on record and persistant showers topping it up the club pitch is having little chance to dry out and this is having an impact on the ability to hold home games.
Andy Birch spent much of last week preparing the pitch for the under 16’s home game with Leyland, filling holes and draining surface water, only to be set back by 24 hours of rain on the Saturday before the game causing the game to be postponed.
