A friendly fixture has been arranged with Tameside Knights for Saturday 29th May 2021, kick off 2:30pm. Tameside currently play in the NWML Merit League and play fixtures on an ad hoc basis whilst they become established further. The game will be played at Tameside due to the ongoing drainage works at Kingscote Park.

Stanley first team have a free weekend from the Division 5 league program and whilst we don’t have the numbers available to take on regular second team fixtures coach, Brett Whitehead, sees the fixture as an opportunity to play some of the players who aren’t getting regular games .  Stanley will field a team with some first teamers but mainly players who haven’t had games so far this season.

Two games have been agreed with Tameside the first been away from home this coming weekend and then one later in the season when Tameside will travel to Kingscote Park. Watch this space for more info on the reverse fixture.
