It is with great sadness that the club has to announce the passing of club stalwart Graham Pitman. Graham passed away at Blackpool Victoria Hospital last night (24/10/20) following a major stroke at the end of August. 

He was a founder member of Blackpool Stanley in 1979 and prior to that was involved at Thornton ICI ARLFC and has played an active part at the club over our 41 year history.

Graham was Blackpool Stanley through and through, a gentleman and touched many peoples lives through his involvement at the club. He will be sadly missed by everyone involved at the club and members both passed and present.

The condolences and thoughts of everyone involved at the club go out to Grahams family at this very sad time.
