The club has completed the new clubhouse and with a pitch to be established at Kingscote Park, close to the club house, the club is encouraging more people to join the club. An associate membership costs just £15 per annum and will facilitate free access to the club, preferential rates at the bar and food outlet as well as on club merchandising and events/trips.
Club Chairman, Simon Hornby, said “it is important that we develop our membership numbers both on and off the field. We have worked hard to renovate the old Sports Pavillion in to what we believe will be a useful community asset. If the game in the town is to grow beyond where it is now we as a club need to reach out and invite others to get involved in whatever capacity suits them”
The club will initially open it’s doors on training nights and match days with more nights being added as demand increases. It is hoped that as membership grows SKY sports and Premier Sports subscriptions will allow Super League and NRL games to be played during opening times.
