The recent inclement weather has not proved altogether bad news for the club. The recent works on the pitch at Kingscote Park have benefitted from the recent wet weather with a brand new covering of grass starting to appear on the recently levelled ground.

Whilst there are still some areas to see grass grow there is plenty of grass growing season left (Mainly August) for a full covering of Grass to be established.

If the wet weather continues through August there will also be opportunity to test the new field drain which is to the left of the pitch in the picture above. Hopefully the summer will return and we can test the field drain in the traditionally wetter months of November and December.
