The Leicester Square Theatre Company have donated £500 to the club. The money donated will go towards the total cost of providing a new kit for the current under 13 team for next season. Club Chairman, Simon Hornby, LST-logocommented ” it is always pleasing to receive generous donations of this nature. We are a no subscriptions run club where the cost of participating does not become a factor for any young person who wishes to join. We therefore need the regular material support of supporters and sponsors in order to fulfil our development plans and grow the participation numbers for Rugby League on the Fylde Coast.”

The link between the club and the Leicester Square Theatre has been established by Jason Tribe who works for the company and who has two sons at the club. Martin Witts, Director of the company,y provided some background to the company

“Since opening Leicester Square Theatre in 2008 the venue has become one London’s first choice venues for comedy, cabaret and music.  Over the last 2 years we have quickly built a massively loyal audience.  I think the success of the last 2 years is down to the venues location, a great team constantly in touch with our audience and the theatre style setting.  It’s a great venue for upcoming and established talent and the feedback from artists is always positive which is proved time and time again with return shows.  The intimacy of the venue creates an atmosphere that isn’t always easy to create in a concert hall and that’s why I think the big names keep coming back”
