Stanley travelled to Haydock with just 11 players and came up against a well organised and fully populated team. Despite promising performances in defence from Jordan Hindley and Dean Harding much of the Stanley defence was not at its best and the extra numbers fielded by the home side took it’s toll. The one bright spot for Stanley was Jordan Hindley’s try, scored late on, when he outflanked the home defence to score in the corner.
