The drainage works announced last week have now started.The works are being conducted by Bethells,the councils main contractor for drainage works. The works will take approximately two days concluding over the bank holiday weekend.. The ground will then need between 4 and 6 weeks to fully recover ready for play.

All home fixtures during the recovery time will be scheduled to be away from home meaning the next home game will be 3rd July against Orrell St James. Whilst this may be disappointing for some supporters wanting to see the team play it will mean we have most of our home games to complete in the second half of the season.
