The club has gained a license to sell alcohol at the clubhouse at Kingscote Park, Layton.
There are a number of conditions which the club needs to fulfil before it can start to serve alcohol at the club, not least the installation of CCTV.
Vice Chairman, Darren Hardy-Dearness, worked closely with the various agencies in making the application and agreeing the terms and conditions of the eventual license. Darren said “ it has been a long process from start to finish, but we have worked hard to ensure that all of the licensing requirements have been met in our application. The police have been particularly helpful in advising us on CCTV and on Challenge 25 policies in particular, and our thanks go out to them. We are now at the next stage of fulfilling the conditions, fitting out the bar and stocking it. We would hope to be open for members only from the start of the new season“.
