The club has been awarded £5000 from Blackpool Councils Bringing Communities Together Fund. The club has been actively encouraging more community engagement and building strong links with our local community in Layton over recent times. Events like the Easter Fun Day and the Jubilee Party  along with the Christmas Hamper appeal for local families in need have helped evidence our commitment to our community and strengthened our application to the fund.

In addition to the recently launched Community Coffee mornings and the forthcoming foodbank Pantry the club will now be in a position to run more community events.  The award also allows for a number of Rugby League taster sessions at venues in and around our immediate catchment.
