Stanley started this NWC fixtures quite brightly. Some good kicking from Ajay Lord taking advantage of the prevailing wind meant that Stanley were able to force defensive mistakes and recover possession from kick offs, however, mistakes with ball early on the tackle count gave the visitors much needed ball which they used to score point against an often weak and ineffective Stanley Defence.

Dean Harding, Jordan Hindley and Kyle Westwood showed up well in defence but there performances were not enough to cover the rest of the team.

Recent results show that Stanley need to improve their defence if any head way is to be made in this league. I’m sure they will work hard to over come these defensive frailties.
