The club will hold its annual AGM on Wednesday 1st September 2021 from 8pm at the Club House.
Included in the agenda will be election of officers for 2021/2 and changes to the clubs operating procedures.
Election of Officers
The roles of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer are all up for re-election. Only full members (i.e. Lotto Members) can be nominated for these roles. Role descriptions are available on request. Every nomination needs to be supported by at least two other full members.
In circumstances where there is more than one nomination for a role then an election will be held on the night. Only active volunteers i.e. those that have recognised / defined roles at the club and paid up members (Lotto Members) over the age of 18, are eligible to vote. This means parents and supporters do not have voting rights at the AGM, unless they are active volunteers or paid up members, although they are welcome to attend and contribute.
Nominations for these roles should be received by the club Secretary (John Gill) at least two weeks prior to the meeting, i.e by Wednesday 18th August 2021. Each nomination needs to be seconded by another full member.
Changes to Club Operating Rules
Any one wishing to make changes to the club operating rules should submit a request via the secretary for such a change to be discussed at the AGM two weeks prior to the AGM i.e. by Wednesday 18th August 2021
Copies of the existing rules are available from members of the board on request.
