Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men between the ages 25 and 49 and early diagnosis sees 98% of men who are treated for the condition alive at least 10 years after treatment (Source UK Cancer Research).
The club has distributed “check yourself guides” around the club in the hope that more young people can detect early signs of testicular cancer and seek treatment.
The club will also be selling Stanley Oddballs bobble hats in order to promote further awareness of the condition. To register your interest in a “Stanley Obble” contact a club official.
Events Coming to Kingscote
The club is pleased to announce two events to be hosted at the club in the next few weeks.
On Sunday 19th May 2019 the club will host Blackpool Masters vs Barrow Masters, Kick off time is to be confirmed but is likely to be a morning kick off time allowing the Barrow Masters to see the Barrow game being held at Bloomfield Road that day as part of the weekends Summer Bash.
On Sunday 2nd June 2019 the club will be open in support of the annual Kingscote Park Dog show which is organised through the friends of the park group. Registration of entrants starts from10:00am and the show will conclude around 4pm. All welcome.
